Handfasting Favours:

The tradition of distributing Wedding Favours is an old one and is currently enjoying a resurgence in popularity. The Favours are given as small gifts as a gesture of appreciation or gratitude to the guests from the Bride and Groom.

We have designed three different Handfasting Favours for you to choose from to give to your guests as a token of your love and thanks to them. All are small and simple spells designed so your guests can use them simply and with ease and whilst doing so, remember a beautiful and moving day.

Blessing Seed Favours: Price £1.99

This Favour comes in a green satin bag and contains a handcrafted blessing seed (made from clay that contains wild flower seeds), a traditional blessing on parchment and a rose quartz heart. Using the instructions provided, the guest plants the seed in a place special to them and as the clay biodegrades the seeds contained within grow symbolising growth, happiness and newness.

Wish Come True Favour: Price £1.99

This Favour comes in a gold satin bag with hand blended Wishing Powder, a small square of parchment infused with rose petals and a small rose quartz heart. The idea being that using the contents and instructions your guests can make a special wish for themselves and remember you and your magical day.

Almond Blessing Favour: Price £1.99

A traditional Favour, this comes in a pink satin bag with 5 sugared almonds – representing fertility, longevity, wealth, health and happiness, a rose quartz heart and a hand rolled chocolate truffle. The actual sugar coated almond represented in times past the bitter sweet times within a marriage. The rose quartz heart is a memento to your guest of your special day and the truffle represents times of plenty to come.

Order of Ceremony Booklets: £1.75 each

This is a small booklet with the order of ceremony and the ritual itself within it covers. This is given out to guests prior to the Handfasting itself so that guests can read the ceremony if they wish and will know the order of the day. Many guests like to keep these as a memento of the day.

Hand Calligraphy Handfasting Certificates:

Each ceremony comes with a lovely printed certificate of Handfasting which the couple will sign and the Priest and Priestess will witness. However, if you require something a little more special why not have one of our hand decorated, calligraphy certificates instead. Each certificate is on high quality parchment paper and every detail is hand crafted and written. A truly lovely keep sake.
